The Shropshire Wildlife Trust aims to encourage people to find out about nature and to get involved in local wildlife activities. In the winter, the Ellesmere Branch organizes illustrated talks each month. Walks in the local area are arranged in the summer and there are occasional opportunities to join in work parties at Ellesmere Nature Reserve. Talks take place the first Thursday of the month, during winter, 7:30pm at The Ellesmere Town Hall.
