Quitting smoking is one of the best things you can do for your health, and it’s never too late to start. The Healthy Lives Stop Smoking Service from Shropshire Council offers free, confidential support to help you stop smoking, whether you’ve tried before or are just starting to consider quitting.
Our specialist stop smoking advisors provide 12 weeks of behavioural support, including 4 weeks’ funded supply of licensed Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) after assessment. NRT options include nicotine patches and oral products. Please note, prescription-only medications (such as Varenicline, Bupropion, and Cytisine) are not currently included in our service.
