**WorkWell Service in South Yorkshire**
**Overview:**
WorkWell is an innovative support service in South Yorkshire, aimed at helping individuals with health conditions and disabilities find, maintain, or return to work. This program is a collaboration between the South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA) and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA), backed by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC).
**Who It's For:**
WorkWell is designed for individuals experiencing physical or mental health conditions, disabilities, or anyone needing assistance in the workplace due to health challenges. Employers can also benefit by referring employees to this program.
**Services Offered:**
- **One-on-One Coaching:** Tailored support to address work and health needs.
- **Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals:** Coordinating with existing health care teams.
- **Financial Guidance:** Support with debt and benefits.
- **Access to Specialists:** Connections to Employment Specialists and trained Health at Work Coaches.
- **Flexible Support Options:** Sessions can be conducted in-person or via phone.
- **Referral to Additional Services:** Signposting to other local support resources.

Service access criteria:
WorkWell supports people living with a health condition or disability to find and stay in work.
WorkWell is a free, voluntary service. We offer support for people aged 16+ in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield.
We work with people who are either:
- recently unemployed (in the last 0-6 months), or
- in work, and want support to continue working or to return to work.
