CARESCO is a unique charity serving Sawtry and surrounding villages since 1982. We offer a wide range of services and activities designed to support and connect our local community.
Our services include:
- Green End Day Club – a welcoming space for socialising and activities.
- The Cave – a friendly drop-in for companionship and support.
- Friday Coffee Shop – a relaxed place to meet and chat.
- Carers Support Group – for those caring for loved ones.
- Sounds Good – a music-based social group.
- Christmas Day Party – bringing people together during the holidays.
- Charity Shop – supporting our work and offering affordable goods.
- Sawtry Foodbank – helping local people in need, in partnership with local churches.
- Village Car Scheme – accessible transport for those who need it.
We also publish the popular Sawtry Eye magazine, keeping the community informed and connected.
Most services are run from our purpose-built CARESCO Centre in the heart of Sawtry. We welcome everyone from Sawtry and nearby villages. There are many ways to get involved, including volunteering and attending our events.
