A Carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability or condition that affects their mental or physical well-being and cannot manage without their support.
Carers have a huge impact both directly, on the lives of the people that they care and indirectly in the contribution that they make towards society as a whole. We believe that carers should have the opportunity to pursue their own goals and aims alongside of their caring role.
We deliver a range of high quality support services for Unpaid Carers throughout Cornwall, free of charge. These services include: emotional support, information, advice and guidance, statutory assessment, access to grants, community support, carer specific training and dedicated services for Young Adult Carers (16-25 year old Carers) and Young Carers.
We want to provide you with relevant and informative information to ensure you receive the best support. We circulate a weekly round up of new events and activities plus a quarterly newsletter to keep you updated with service changes and new opportunities!
