Moorland Community Caring Buckfastleigh

Moorland Community Caring works to reduce loneliness and improve the wellbeing of adults in the Ashburton, Bovey Tracey, and Buckfastleigh communities.

We offer a range of programmes and activities designed to help people connect, feel supported, and enjoy life. Our services include:

  • Wellbeing Programme – Activities and support to boost mental and physical health.
  • Dementia & Memory Loss Support – Specialist help for those experiencing memory problems, including our friendly Moor Social Memory Café.
  • Moor Socials – Regular social gatherings to help people make new friends and feel part of the community.

We also provide volunteering opportunities for those who want to make a difference locally, and we welcome support from individuals and organisations to help us continue our work.

Who is it for? Adults living in Ashburton, Bovey Tracey, Buckfastleigh, and surrounding areas who would like to connect with others, get support with memory loss, or improve their wellbeing.
