Please note: we only work with residents aged over 18 who are registered to one of the following GP practices and who live in Havering:

What are Health Wellbeing Coaches?
Health & Wellbeing Coaches work in GP practices and are part of the NHS.
They are here to give you extra support to achieve your health goals, such as stopping smoking, losing weight or being more active.
What do Health & Wellbeing Coaches do?
Health & Wellbeing Coaches are here to support you to achieve your health goals, such as:
- Stopping smoking
- Losing weight
- Being more active
- Changing the way you eat
- Managing stress and improving sleep
- Building confidence or motivation
- Reducing isolation
They are here to help you improve your knowledge, confidence and skills so that you are more likely to achieve your health goals.
Health & Wellbeing Coaches create a safe space for people to talk without judgement. Health and Wellbeing Coaches can provide some accountability and motivation to help patients to stick with and reach their goals.
Please note: we only work with patients aged 18 years and above.
Patients must be registered at one of the practices listed below:
- Hornchurch Healthcare
- Maylands Healthcare
- Cranham Village Surgery
- Haiderian Medical Centre
- Avon Road Surgery
Unfortunately, we cannot see patients if:
- Already working with another mental health service
- Diagnosed with PTSD
- Severe mental health condition or there is a risk of self-harm
- Seeking advice/clinical support
- Using illicit substances
