Allington Community Cafe

Although this cafe is held in a church, it is for those of all faiths and none, and there is no attempt to promote the church. Held on a Tuesday weekly from 10 am to 12 noon, doors open at 9.30 am. Refreshments are free (coffee, tea, homemade cakes), although it is possible to make a donation if you choose. There is a Quiz each week for those who wish to participate. The cafe has a 5-star Environmental Health rating and disabled access and toilets. About 60 people come a week, mostly older men and women. It appeals to those who are new to the area, recently bereaved, or who just want to meet others.

Just turn up, but the contact for any queries is Liz Walker, by telephone (07434 156563) or email (canonliz.walker@gmail.com).

We observe Data Protection legislation and have a trained Safeguarding officer present. We are nearing maximum numbers.
