The Community Cupboard Foodbank is a welcoming local charity providing free food, groceries, and signposting services to anyone in need. Our ethos is that everyone needs a little help sometimes, and we aim to support people with dignity and respect.
We operate two hubs:
- West Kingsdown: Located next to the village hall and by the skate park, open for collections on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10am–12pm, and Tuesday and Thursday 12pm–2pm. Please contact us prior to attending.
- Swanley: Located at Elim Church, Cherry Avenue, Swanley, BR8 7DX. Open Monday and Thursday 10am–3pm, and Saturday 10am–12pm. Bookings are required and can be made via email.
There is no referral required and no set criteria to access our services. We work closely with local agencies, schools, doctors, and businesses to ensure those in need receive the right support. Our hubs are friendly spaces where you can access food and advice over a cup of tea.
Support is provided FREE of charge.
