Kooth is a free, confidential, and anonymous online service providing emotional and mental health support for children and young people in Kent aged 10-25.
Young people can sign up themselves in less than five minutes—no referral is required. Kooth is available to anyone aged 10-25 in Kent, whether they are waiting for other services, do not meet thresholds for support, or want additional help alongside other services.
- Online counselling with BACP-qualified professionals via 1-1 chat or messaging, available on a drop-in basis or by booking (all text-based).
- Out of hours support: Counsellors are available from 12 noon to 10pm on weekdays and 6pm to 10pm at weekends.
- Peer support: Access pre-moderated discussion boards for peer-to-peer support.
- Online magazine: Read moderated articles, many written by young people, offering advice and guidance on a wide range of topics.
All you need is a mobile phone, laptop, or tablet and an internet connection. Kooth is completely free to use.
