Whittling it Down and Connecting with Nature

Join our weekly whittling group and reconnect with nature!

Every Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, we meet at our hub in Cynon Valley Organic Adventures, near Abercynon Sports Centre. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced whittler, everyone is welcome to join in.

  • Expert Guidance: Learn carving techniques and basic cuts with Becky, our experienced instructor.
  • Relaxed, Supportive Environment: Enjoy a friendly, meditative atmosphere that helps clear your mind and reduce stress.
  • Mindfulness & Wellbeing: Whittling can help lower blood pressure, improve concentration, and provide a sense of calm.
  • Free for Anyone Affected by Cancer: Our sessions are open to all—just bring yourself and some warm clothes. We have shelter if it rains!
  • Refreshments Provided: Enjoy a complimentary cuppa as you craft.

How to join: Please RSVP in advance so we can save you a spot. It’s a great way to meet others, learn new skills, and enjoy the outdoors.
