Cranstoun Worcestershire – Redditch Alcohol & Other Drugs Support

Cranstoun Worcestershire offers free, confidential support for adults (18+) in Worcestershire who want to change their alcohol or drug use. Our friendly team provides a wide range of services to help you take control of your wellbeing, whether you’re seeking help for yourself or supporting a loved one.

What we offer:

  • Personalised assessments and care planning
  • Community outreach and shared care across all six Worcestershire districts
  • Harm reduction, including a Needle Syringe Programme
  • Prescribing services and access to detox and rehab packages
  • Peer mentor programme and mutual aid groups
  • Housing advice, liaison, and referral
  • Information, advice, and support for families and carers
  • Access to education, training, employment (including volunteering)
  • Social and physical activities to support recovery
  • Specialist support for young people via our Here4YOUth service
  • Translation support if English is not your first language

Innovative support: We are piloting wearable overdose detection devices (WODDAS) to help safeguard vulnerable individuals and reduce the risk of accidental overdose.

Employment support: Our Individual Placement & Support (IPS) service helps people in recovery find and sustain paid employment, with dedicated Employment Specialists working alongside local employers.

How to access: You can self-refer or be referred by a professional. Once you contact us, we’ll help you find the closest support location in Worcestershire.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (excluding Bank Holidays). Phone lines open from 9.30am.

Eligibility: Adults aged 18+ living in Worcestershire who want to change their alcohol or drug use. Family members and friends can also access support. Young people can access specialist support via Here4YOUth.

How to access: Self-referral and professional referrals are accepted. Contact us by phone or email to get started. Translation support is available if English is not your first language.
