Garstang Memory Cafe

Garstang Memory Cafe is a free, welcoming drop-in centre for people living with dementia, their carers, and anyone interested in learning more about dementia. Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and friendly environment where you can share experiences, listen, and learn from others.

We offer twice monthly meetings at the Free Methodist Church, Garstang, where attendees can enjoy refreshments, participate in a variety of activities, or simply sit and chat. The atmosphere is informal and open, encouraging social interaction and understanding of the emotional and psychological impact of dementia.

  • Who can attend? Anyone affected by dementia, including family, friends, carers, support workers, and those with the disease.
  • Cost: All meetings and refreshments are completely free.
  • When: 1st Monday of the month (2pm–4pm) and 3rd Wednesday of the month (10am–12 noon).
  • Where: Free Methodist Church, Windsor Road, Garstang (nearly opposite the Library).

Whatever your motivation for joining us, you can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome. Donations are appreciated to help support the service, and Gift Aid is available for eligible donors.
