Hinckley & Bosworth Medical Alliance offers free monthly drop-in sessions for children and families with learning disabilities and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
These social prescribing drop-ins provide a warm, welcoming space for connection, peer support, and conversation. Families can meet others, share experiences, and access helpful advice in a relaxed environment.
- Broughton Astley Family Hub, Station Road, LE9 6PT – Every last Thursday of the month, 10am – 11:30am
- Earl Shilton Family Hub, Alexander Avenue, LE9 7AH – Every two weeks on Friday (starting from 4 July 2025), 10am – 11:30am
- Hinckley Children and Family Centre, Granville Road, LE10 0PP – Every Tuesday, 10am – 11:30am
Who is it for? Children and families living with learning disabilities and SEND in Leicestershire and surrounding areas.
What to expect:
- Peer support and friendly conversation
- Opportunities to connect with other families
- Advice and signposting to local services
- No need to book – just drop in!
Cost: All sessions are free of charge.

We warmly welcome all parents and carers to attend the support group, as long as their child has a confirmed diagnosis or are currently on the pathway to get a diagnosis.
