Woodhatch Community Centre offers a welcoming weekly programme of activities for all ages and interests. No membership is required, and most sessions are open to everyone in the community. Whether you're looking to get active, meet new people, learn new skills, or simply have fun, there's something for you.
- Exercise and Wellbeing: Extend exercise, Pilates, Yoga (Gentle Hatha, Restorative, Strong Vinyasa), Qigong and Gong Sound Bath Meditation, Beefit exercise, Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Multi Sports and Games.
- Social and Creative Activities: Knit and Natter, Art for pleasure, Arts and Craft, Barbara's Craft, Tea Dance, Woodhatch Singers, Bingo, Bridge, Crib, Dominoes, Whist, Bowls, Scrabble Club.
- Family and Children: Stay and Play (ages 5 and under), Jingle bugs (ages 3 months to 5 years), Robot Reg (book via robotreg.co.uk).
- Learning and Support: Computer Assistance and Tuition (pre-booking required), iPad Tuition.
- Relaxation and Mindfulness: Meditation and Relaxation, Sound Bath Meditation.
Costs: Most activities are low-cost, ranging from free to £7 per session. Some activities require pre-booking or have variable charges (e.g. Bingo, Mash, Robot Reg).
How to join: Just turn up for most activities—no need to book unless stated. For computer assistance and tuition, please pre-book your slot.
Everyone is welcome! The centre is a friendly space for all, with activities for children, adults, and older people. Come along to try something new, make friends, and enjoy your local community.
