Exercise classes for older adults

Move it or Lose it provides tailored group exercise classes for older adults and those with long-term health conditions.

All exercises - which are low to moderate intensity - can be done seated or standing and include flexibility, aerobics, balance and strength (FABS). The classes are very welcoming and also provide opportunities for people to socialise and make friends.

Aimed at over 60s. All clients complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire to ensure they are safe to exercise or may require agreement from their health care professional to attend.
