We are certified to provide Equine Facilitated Learning (non-ridden) and/or Mindful Emotion Coaching (created by Dr Sarah Temple, GP and colleague) at our private site in Shenton, Leicestershire.
For those unable to attend in person, we can also offer online Mindful Emotion Coaching.
Our services are trauma-informed and inclusive, supporting people of all ages and needs. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s goals, helping them discover and strengthen their own inner resources for managing life’s challenges.
We work 1:1 and in small groups with adults and children experiencing:
• Mental health difficulties (particularly anxiety and depression)
• Low self-esteem
• Difficulty regulating emotions
• Behaviour that those around them find challenging
Our aim is to help people build deeper connections with themselves and those around them. We support:
• Adults with physical or mental health challenges
• Adults navigating transitions into or back to work
• Adults or families who are struggling to connect
• Children under the care of, or awaiting support from, CAMHS
• Looked-after children
• Children who need additional support to maintain/improve their wellbeing
Our coaching draws on international research into child development and neuroscience, offering practical strategies to help people build good physical and mental health. Although we have listed some of the more common issues that we support clients with please do not hesitate to contact us if advice or support is needed for other issues.
As we have 'looked after' children and vulnerable adults on site we usually give the location on booking rather than publicising it.
Although the ground is uneven, we may be able to facilitate wheelchair users, but this would be dependent on their needs. All referrals will be triaged to ensure that we can provide a safe environment which meets their needs. If you are unsure if our service is suitable for someone that is being referred, please contact us to discuss.
7+ for face to face support with the child. Any age other than that. Support for children younger than that is provided through supporting the parent or caregiver.
