The Eve project is Sandycroft's specialist domestic abuse service, supporting Women and Children in Redditch and Bromsgrove.
The service is a high-risk specialist service which offers 1:1 support with either a high-risk worker (IDVA) or a domestic abuse support worker. We can support you with leaving an abusive partner, MARAC, housing and benefits, social services and court proceedings.
Not only do we support you and advocate on your behalf we also offer emotional support. Our aim is to empower you by educating you on the cycle of domestic abuse, healthy and unhealthy relationships and a safe space for you to talk about your experiences. We offer weekly sessions for 12 weeks.
Alongside our one-to-one support, we also offer trauma counselling. This is a face-to-face service in which the counsellor will help you to process your trauma.
We offer empowerment classes such as freedom program, power to change and you, me and mum.
Child specialist services
We now offer specialist one to one support sessions for children aged from 12 years old. These sessions will help them to understand what healthy and unhealthy relationships look like, what the cycle of abuse is and a safe place for them to express their experiences. We support them with both experiences of family abuse but also partner abuse.
Trauma counselling is also available for children aged from 11 years old.
We offer a children’s class called helping hands which is from 5yrs to 12yrs. This class supports the children in understanding how to keep safe in a child appropriate manner
(Children services are limited)
The aim of the service is to support the victims and survivors to live a life free from abuse. We offer all services under one roof in a confidential face-to-face setting.
