Coventry Independent Advice Service is a registered charity offering free, confidential advice, information, and support to people in Coventry and surrounding areas. We hold the Advice Quality Standard, a national quality mark for organisations providing independent advice.
Our skilled advisers can help you with:
- Identifying entitlement to benefits and helping you make claims
- Sorting out debt or other money problems
- Challenging decisions on benefit claims
- Finding other kinds of support
How to access our service:
- We offer a small number of advice surgeries in Coventry and the surrounding areas. Details are available on our ‘get advice’ pages.
- We provide help getting people online through our Community Digital support in libraries across Coventry.
- If you are already receiving help from us, please contact your named adviser or use the contact information provided.
Due to recent funding changes, we are unable to offer a general advice service for all Coventry residents. For new advice enquiries, please contact Central England Law Centre (for specialist social welfare advice) or Citizens Advice Coventry (for general welfare benefits and debt advice).
Our self-help page includes links to online information resources and details of other services in Coventry. You can also use online calculators to check benefit entitlement.
