Dementia Cafe's, what are they?
They are welcoming spaces designed for individuals with mild to moderate dementia and their loved ones to connect and socialise over a cup of tea or coffee.
Each café offers a variety of engaging and meaningful activities, including history talks, games, quizzes, live music and arts and crafts, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The cafés are regularly supported by Age UK Wyvern Dementia Wellbeing Service advisors, who provide practical and emotional support to attendees and can help connect them to additional services.
Is there a cost?
No, our Dementia Café's are free of charge with complimentary refreshments provided.
