Youth Mental Health Foundation (YMHF) is a UK-based non-profit dedicated to empowering parents and carers to support children and teens struggling with mental health challenges.
We offer a free online course for parents called The Horizon Plan, providing step-by-step guidance to help you support your child’s emotional wellbeing and recovery. The course is designed for parents of children and young people facing issues such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, and behavioural difficulties.
- Power2Parent Groups: Join in-person coaching groups to connect with other parents, share experiences, and learn practical strategies for supporting your child’s mental health. These groups are suitable for parents of children aged 8 to 17.
- School Workshops & Assemblies: We deliver assemblies and workshops in primary schools to build resilience and promote mental wellbeing among young people. Over 200 schools and 35,000 students have benefited from our sessions.
- Free Resources: Download our booklet on supporting a child through self-harm, access our Facebook support group, and join the OASIS Community for ongoing peer support.
All our services are free or funded thanks to generous donations. We welcome parents, carers, teachers, and professionals to reach out for support or partnership opportunities.
