- Up to 16 weeks of personalised 1- to- 1 support with a trained stop smoking advisor
- A flexible quit plan tailored to your mental health and lifestyle needs
- Access to Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) or a free vape through the swap to stop scheme
- Telephone and face to face sessions available locally
Our mission
To create an accessible, specialist programme for residents with a diagnosed mental health condition, supporting them to quit or reduce smoking. The goal is to reduce tobacco related harm and improve overall quality of life.
Residency/Work: Barking and Dagenham residents, people that work for Barking and Dagenham council or registered with a GP located in Barking and Dagenham
Age: 18 years or older
Mental health condition: Must be diagnosed with common mental health condition such as:
Depression
Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
Social Anxiety Disorder
Panic Disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
If a client is diagnosed with a severe mental illness (SMI), they must receive support from the Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Team.
Examples of severe mental illnesses include:
Schizophrenia
Bipolar disorder
Major depressive disorder
Schizoaffective disorder
Severe personality disorders
