EPIC Dad (registered charity number 1216517) delivers practical, inclusive support across West Suffolk—especially for fathers, male carers, and families navigating real-life challenges. Every activity is rooted in one of three core aims:
Supporting Men
We offer safe, stigma-free spaces where men can connect, reflect, and rebuild confidence.
Activities include:
One-to-one mentoring – confidential, relational support tailored to individual needs
Wellbeing walks – informal outdoor connection and conversation
Support groups – peer-led spaces to share, listen, and grow
Social evenings – relaxed, low-pressure opportunities to build community
Wellbeing course – practical tools for managing stress, emotions, and everyday life
Empowering Fathers
We equip dads and male carers with the tools, insight, and encouragement to thrive in their parenting role.
Activities include:
Fatherhood preparation course – supporting new and expectant dads
Fatherhood workshops – exploring the key roles of a father as an Encourager, Provider, Instructor, and Carer
Family connection course – strengthening bonds and communication within families
Transforming Families
We create inclusive, hands-on experiences that build connection, reduce isolation, and support whole-family wellbeing.
Activities include:
Dads and children’s fun clubs – shared play and bonding
Family LEGO clubs – creative, collaborative sessions for all ages
Family games clubs – accessible, screen-free fun for mixed-age groups
Family wellbeing stores – practical support with dignity (food, clothing, essentials)
Parent wellbeing drop-ins – open access to support, signposting, and connection
