Choice Support - Richmond and Wandsworth supported employment

Choice Support helps people with disabilities in Richmond and Wandsworth find and keep paid work. We work with the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames and Wandsworth Council to support autistic people, people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments.

Our support includes:

  • Writing your CV and filling out application forms
  • Searching for jobs that match your skills
  • Preparing for interviews and attending with you, if needed
  • Working with employers to make adjustments to the interview process
  • Identifying changes or adjustments at your workplace
  • Understanding your rights as an employee or volunteer

We focus on your work goals, whether that's part-time, full-time, or voluntary work. If you're off sick or struggling at work, we can help you keep your job by working with you and your employer to find the best solution.

Our approach is person-centred: We put your wishes and aspirations at the centre of our support, always remaining positive and helping you through the ups and downs of finding work. We see your potential and help you show your skills to employers, treating you with dignity, patience, and understanding.

  • Support to develop your skills through work trials, work experience, education, training, or voluntary work
  • Job clubs to meet others looking for work
  • Signposting to organisations or resources for particular needs
  • Flexible support depending on where you are on your employment journey
