• Where legal help is needed, we refer to SRA-regulated solicitors
• No cost to the resident for using our service

Service access criteria:
  •  The resident lives in a council, housing association, leasehold or privately owned/freehold property in England or Wales. 
  • The property has serious repair problems such as damp, mould, leaks, faulty heating, electrics or structural issues. • The problem has been reported to the landlord, housing provider or managing agent, but they have failed to carry out repairs within a reasonable time. •
  • The issue is ongoing or affecting the resident’s health, safety or daily living conditions. • The resident can provide basic evidence (e.g. photos or repair history) and consents to an inspection and assessment.
