Hestia provides a wide range of support services in Wandsworth, empowering people with safety, hope, and purpose.
Our services are designed to help adults, children, and families facing challenges such as domestic abuse, mental health crises, substance misuse, criminal justice transitions, older age, employment barriers, and modern slavery.
- Domestic Abuse: Refuge accommodation for single women and women with children at risk, plus Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy (IDVA) services.
- Mental Health: The South West London Recovery Café offers a safe, friendly space for anyone in crisis. We also provide Drug and Alcohol Floating Support for adults (18-65) and accommodation-based Mental Health Rehabilitation and Recovery services.
- Criminal Justice: Approved Premises Housing and Support for men leaving custody, focusing on recovery and preventing re-offending.
- Older People: The Age Activity Centre is a drop-in for adults over 60, offering social activities and day trips. The Age Well service supports those aged 55+ to stay healthy, active, and connected.
- Employment Support: The Developing Futures programme (Twining-Hestia) helps young adults (18-24) from ethnically diverse communities with personalised advice to achieve their goals.
- Modern Slavery Response: Since 2011, Hestia has supported over 7,000 survivors, providing safe houses and pan-London outreach.
