Hey there, welcome to the Leicester Diamonds Womens and Non Binary Baseball Club!
If you’re a woman or non-binary person who’s ever thought, “Hmm, maybe I’d like to try a new sport”, or you’re just looking for some good company and a reason to get outside, you’ve found the right place.
We’re a friendly, easy going bunch who play baseball together, laugh a lot, and cheer each other on. You don’t need to be sporty, have any experience, or own a single piece of kit. Honestly , most of us had never picked up a bat before we joined!
More than anything, being part of the Diamonds is about connection. Team sports have this amazing way of lifting your mood, easing stress, and helping you feel part of something bigger. Whether you’re looking to boost your confidence, meet new people, or just have some fun and switch off for a bit, you’ll find plenty of support (and smiles) here.
We train every week, outdoors in the sunshine through summer (At Western Park), and indoors (indoor sports centre at Freemans common) when it’s chilly. Our season runs from April to September, with a mix of games, friendlies, and fun little matches between ourselves.
And because it’s not just about baseball, we hang out off the field too , with socials, meet-ups, and a lot of laughter all year round.

Summer Training April to Sept takes place on Tuesdays @ Western Park from 6pm till 8pm
Winter Training - Oct to March takes place on Sat or Sunday depending on booking arrangements that week @ Leicester Sports Centre 16 Freemans common 1030am till 12pm.
