The Importance of Writing your Will
Writing a will allows you to have control and dictate the distribution of your property, finances, and belongings after your passing. If you pass away without a will (intestate), your estate will be allocated according to legal regulations that govern how a deceased person's assets are divided among their surviving family members. Dying intestate may result in your assets not being distributed according to your wishes, potentially causing complications for your loved ones. The cost of your will is now covered by us up to £150 – so you can write or update a simple will for free or get a will with trust at a discounted rate.
While many supporters choose to include a gift in their will to Age UK Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, there’s no obligation to do so when using this service.
