Free blood pressure checks to all eligible adults over the age of 40 who have not had their blood pressure checked recently. If a reading is elevated the pharmacist can offer 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring to help with an accurate diagnosis of hypertension. If necessary, the pharmacist will refer you to your GP for treatment.
The majority of pharmacies across Newbury and the wider West Berkshire area provide this service.
