Nurture Craft Group
Our Nurture Craft Group meet on Wednesdays 10-12pm, and make items such as; greeting cards, string holders for the garden, paper mache, and much more. There is an opportunity to select craft activities of your own choice too.
Knitting Group
We have a “Knit & Natter” group, who meet on Wednesday evenings 7-9pm & Thursday afternoons 1-3pm. New members are always welcome and tea, coffee and biscuits are available. We ask for a donation of £3.
Allotment
The Allotment has been going for over 10 years now, with produce grown donated to our Community Fridge and shared amongst the allotment volunteers. We are always looking for new Volunteers to join us. The plot is in a prime condition, with a lot of work over the last few years now paying off, making it a lot easier to maintain. We have a Poly Tunnel for growing from seeds and also plants such as; tomatoes, lettuce and cucumbers. The plot has 20 raised beds for growing various vegetables, soft fruit and we also have a few apple and plum trees. We have won prizes over the last 4 years for our plot, awarded by the Town Council.
