Communities Together East Anglia

Communities Together East Anglia is dedicated to reducing loneliness and social isolation across East Anglia, with a primary focus on Suffolk. We connect individuals and organisations to the support they need, working at county, regional, and hyper-local levels.

Our services include:

  • Community Transport: Mobility-accessible and inclusive transport for residents of Mid Suffolk, including tailored solutions like Connecting Communities and Rural Connect. Volunteer-led car transport is available for healthcare appointments, helping people maintain independence and access essential services.
  • Digital Connect: Friendly help to build digital skills and confidence, supporting you to manage health and wellbeing, book appointments, shop online, stay in touch with loved ones, and browse the internet. We aim to reduce digital isolation and empower independence.
  • Connect Together: We offer a wide range of social engagement opportunities, connecting people to local groups and activities throughout Suffolk. Our programs nurture connection, friendship, and mutual support within communities.
  • Befriending Service: Our volunteers provide regular telephone calls offering conversation, connection and a friendly voice when it’s needed most
