Online creative dance and movement class for adults who would like to join us from the comfort of their own homes or own care settings.
Beat the winter chill and lift your spirits with Winter Warmers, a joyful online seated dance class designed especially for older adults. Held once a month, these gentle, feel-good sessions are the perfect way to stay active, connected, and cosy from the comfort of your own home.
Each class offers simple, expressive movement to beautiful music, no experience needed! You’ll warm up your body, boost your mood, and enjoy dancing alongside a friendly community.

Online via Zoom
Classes take place once a month, every second Wednesday
Dates: 12 November | 10 December | 14 January | 11 February
Time: 14:00 - 15:00
Suggested donation of £5.00 per session per person to support the sustainability of the class
Who Can Attend
- Adults who wish to take part in creative, gentle, and expressive movement from home, including older adults, those with reduced mobility, long-term health conditions, or anyone who finds online participation more accessible.
- Individuals living in care settings, supported living, or residential environments who would like to join as part of a group.
- Carers, companions, family members, or support staff are welcome to join and assist participants as needed.
- Individuals who require close personal or clinical supervision must have a carer or support worker present throughout the session.
Technical Requirements
Participants will need:
- A device with internet access (computer, tablet, or smartphone).
- The Zoom application installed, or the ability to join via a browser.
- A safe space to sit, with adequate room to move arms and upper body.
- For care settings: a staff member must ensure safe setup, screen placement, and supervision if required.
Geographical Area
- Open to adults living anywhere in the UK who are able to join the session online.
Referral Routes
- Self-referral—participants, families, and carers may book directly.
- Professional referral from health and social care teams, care homes, community organisations, and support workers.
Level of Need
- Participants should be able to take part in a structured, seated movement session delivered online.
- Movements can be fully adapted, and participants may join with carer support if needed.
