Accessing Food in Suffolk

Worried about the cost of living? Need some support? Suffolk InfoLink provides a comprehensive guide to foodbanks and affordable food projects across Suffolk. Whether you are facing a crisis or simply looking to stretch your budget, there are options available for everyone.

Types of food support available:

  • Foodbanks (crisis food support): May require a referral. Contact the Foodbank directly for support.
  • Top-up/Pop-up shops: Open to all. A small fee may be required to access a selection of food to supplement your regular groceries.
  • Pantry/Larder/Fridge: Open to all and free to access.

Additional support for families:

  • Healthy Start: If you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4, you may be entitled to help with buying healthy food and milk.
