The Headlight Project is a dedicated charity working to reduce deaths by suicide in the Tees Valley area. Founded in memory of Russ Devereux, we offer specialist support for those bereaved by suicide and provide preventative education and training to the local community.
Our services include:
- Specialist 1-to-1 counselling for adults and children affected by suicide.
- Play therapy for children experiencing grief.
- Trauma therapies such as EMDR, delivered by professional counsellors.
- Support groups for individuals and families navigating complex grief.
We also deliver awareness presentations, campaigns, and evidence-based training to equip our community with the knowledge and skills to help prevent suicide. Our workshops and educational sessions are designed to empower everyone to make a difference.
All services are provided locally in the Tees Valley area. We are committed to supporting anyone affected by suicide, regardless of how long ago the bereavement occurred. Our team is professional, compassionate, and ready to help you find hope and peace.
There is no charge for our support services. We rely on donations to continue our vital work. If you would like to help, please consider making a one-off or monthly donation via our website.
