Sunflower Cafe - Balham Baptist Church

The Sunflower Café, is a FOC. friendly, informal social group for the over 65’s which is dementia-friendly and held at Balham Baptist Church in the Community Lounge every Wednesday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, the group offers a varied programme of engaging activities designed to promote wellbeing, social connection and cognitive stimulation. Sessions include Singing for the Brain, gentle armchair exercise, guest speakers, and creative arts and crafts. These activities provide opportunities for enjoyment, confidence-building and peer support, while also giving carers valuable respite and access to local advice and resources.
