East Ham Library Exercise Classes for over 35s

A physical fitness programme targeted to residents over the age 35+ to get the community active and healthier. We provide a service across the borough to tackle social isolation and promote physical and mental wellbeing. 

We offer the following activities:

  • Keep Fit  - Mondays 10am-11am East Ham Library
  • Pilates - Tuesdays 9am-10am East Ham Library
  • Pilates - Tuesdays 10am-11am East Ham Library
  • Yoga with Indira - Tuesdays 6pm-7.15pm East Ham Library
  • Line Dancing- Wednesdays 10.30am -11.30am St Bart's Centre (292A Barking Rd, London E6 3BA)
  • Chair Based Exercise-  Fridays 9.45am-10.45am East Ham Library
  • Salsa - Fridays 12.30pm- 1.15pm East Ham Library
  • Salsa - Fridays 1.30pm- 2.15pm East Ham Library
  • Yoga with Wellbeings with Sarah - Fridays 6pm-7pm East Ham Library

No booking required. To attend, simply turn up.

Service access criteria: Over the age of 35 and must be a Newham resident
