Work Your Way is Derbyshire NHS's dedicated employment service, designed to help people using community mental health services in Derbyshire find and keep the right job for them.

Our team of employment specialists and job coaches work closely with you to understand your ambitions, talents, and needs. We support you every step of the way, from exploring your skills and career goals to contacting employers, preparing for interviews, and settling into your new role.

  • Benefits advice: We provide clear information about how employment may affect your benefits, so you can make confident decisions.
  • Ongoing collaboration: With your permission, we work with your care team to ensure your job search fits with your mental health support.

Who can access Work Your Way?

  • People supported by community mental health teams and the Early Intervention service across Derby and Derbyshire.
  • People involved in the Living Well programme.

Cost: This service is free and funded by NHS England. We do not receive commissions or bonuses, so our focus is entirely on your needs.
