Youth Empowerment Service is for children and young people aged 9 to 25 in Newham. It offers Youth Zones, clubs, learning programmes, participation projects and youth work support to help young people feel safe, valued and able to influence decisions about their lives.
- Take part in clubs, learning programmes and weekly Youth Zone activities.
- Build skills such as responsibility, empathy, problem solving, initiative, teamwork and managing emotions.
- Use safe, varied and welcoming youth work settings with support from youth workers.
- Get involved in participation projects, Youth Zones, Duke of Edinburgh and Youth Climate Assembly opportunities.
- Access wider support including detached youth work, intensive youth work, Children’s Rights and Advocacy and youth participation.
