Just Family CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of children, parents, and families. We offer a holistic, whole-family approach, providing a range of quality support services delivered by specialist trained practitioners and volunteers.
Our mission is to help families build brighter futures through positive relationships, emotional support, and opportunities for growth. We work with local authorities, the NHS, schools, and charitable organisations to deliver impactful programmes and interventions.
- Peer Support Groups: Including 'Just Nurture' for mums and 'Just Dads' for fathers, offering mental wellbeing support, advocacy, and a welcoming space to connect.
- Parent Workshops: Practical sessions to empower parents and carers with knowledge and skills for family wellbeing.
- Advocacy: Support navigating services and appointments, ensuring families' voices are heard.
- One-to-One Tailored Support: Bespoke sessions for parents, carers, children, and young people, including accredited bonding programmes and emotional wellbeing interventions.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Play-based attachment programmes such as 'Just Heart to Heart' and 'Just Grow', supporting children and adolescents to develop emotional awareness and self-regulation.
- Emergency Interventions: Responsive support for families in crisis.
- Specialist Programmes: Including perinatal support after traumatic birth ('Just Smile'), wellbeing sessions for looked after children ('Just Shine'), and inclusive play sessions for children with additional needs ('Just Be').
- Safe, Non-Judgemental Spaces: All our groups and sessions provide refreshments, activities, and a welcoming environment for families to connect and thrive.
Our services are delivered in-person at our community centre and through outreach in the local area. We welcome referrals and self-referrals, and some programmes are free to attend (see individual service details for eligibility).
