Newham Council operates two Housing Hubs in Stratford and Canning Town, providing a one-stop-shop for housing-related support and advice.
Our Housing Hubs are open to Council Tenants, Leaseholders, and residents with pre-arranged appointments for our Housing Needs and Supply Teams (Lettings, Temporary Accommodation, and Private Sector Housing). You can visit the hubs to discuss your housing queries face-to-face with our friendly staff and resolve issues in person.
Services available at the hubs include:

- Lettings (appointment only, residents must have a bidding number)
- Income Collection/Rents
- Repairs and Maintenance
- Temporary Accommodation
- Neighbourhood Response
- Resident Involvement
- Private Sector Housing
- Our Newham Money (financial support and advice)
How to access the service:
- Some services (Lettings, Temporary Accommodation, Private Sector Housing) require an appointment. Book by emailing the relevant hub with your name, address, enquiry, and availability, or by contacting an officer directly.
- Council tenants and leaseholders can visit the hub and speak with the receptionist to book an appointment.
- For other services, you can walk in during opening hours. If staff are unavailable, an appointment will be booked for you.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 4:30pm (closed 12:30pm – 1:30pm for lunch).
