Ridgeline Trust offers supportive horticultural therapy sessions designed for people of all abilities and experience levels. Our sessions are guided by qualified horticultural therapists and supported by friendly volunteers, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
What to expect:
- Therapeutic gardening activities tailored to individual needs, abilities, and goals
- Seasonal tasks such as seed sowing, potting-on, dead-heading, weeding, watering, and digging
- Access to a heated polytunnel for gardening in colder or wetter weather
- Indoor activities in our spacious pavilion, including crafts and cooking with garden produce, when outdoor gardening isn’t possible
- All equipment and tools provided
- Opportunities to learn new skills or rediscover old ones, regardless of prior gardening experience
- Tea and coffee provided; bring your own packed lunch to enjoy with others
- Plenty of space to sit outdoors or indoors, depending on the weather
Accessibility: Our garden features a wheelchair-accessible path, level access to the pavilion, and accessible toilets, making it easy for everyone to participate.
Session times and cost:
- Monday mornings and Tuesday mornings and/or afternoons
- £20 per session, or £40 for a full day
