Rise Newham Drugs and alcohol support service

We are an integrated service delivering a range of interventions designed to support Newham residents that suffer with drugs and alcohol related issues.

Newham Rise will support adults; young people; children and families affected by substance misuse.

We carry out harm reduction intervention including needle exchange; Naloxon training and distribution and Opiate substitute treatment and hidden harm.

Psychosocial intervention is delivered in form of Group work and one to one sessions. Newham Rise collaborates with a number of partner providers including IPS and Release to support our service users with a variety of needs.

We also provides support in accessing Tier 4 intervention and community detox for alcohol users; opiate and non- opiate users.

Newham Rise has dedicated Criminal justice and outreach and engagement teams to best support our most vulnerable cohort of service users navigating their recovery in a structured and trauma focussed way. 

Newham Rise operates with an open access model, all individual are welcome to attend the hub closer to their home address for a same day assessment.
