Money Coach Service

Our service is suitable for anyone in need of support around money management; each session is catered to the individual's needs. We can offer money guidance, benefits and debt advice.   

Benefits Advice
-we can assist in ensuring the accurate benefit rate is received and provide help with the completion of new benefit claims.
-we can help with benefit overpayments, mandatory reconsiderations and appeals paperwork as well as dealing with unfair sanctions.   
    
Debt Advice
-we offer solutions to assist with debt management, such as negotiating with creditors.

Energy Advice
-We can assist in reducing your energy bills and provide information on energy grants and discounts.  

Money Guidance   
-help with budget creation or review, better off checks, to see if they could be entitled to additional benefits  
-check to see if they are eligible to access one-off grants.   
-Providing hints and tips to help decrease their regular spending costs.   

After receiving the referral, a member of our Project Support Team will contact the client to collect important information and schedule a meeting with one of our Money Coaches. Referrals are handled on a first-come, first-served basis, so there may be a wait of up to two weeks.

Quick tip! After making a referral, please remind the client to save Money A+E’s number 020 8616 3750 to their phone. This way, they’ll recognise us when we call.
   
Our appointments are usually over the phone, via WhatsApp, or Zoom. Please note that we do not have translation services available for those who do not speak English, therefore, if a translator is needed, a trusted advocate, friend or family member will be required.

Please be advised that bookings are strictly by appointment only. We kindly request that clients do not visit the Money A+E office without a prior appointment.
