Thr1ve Social Prescribing for Young People Group Support

We are a Social Prescribing Service for young people. Part of our social prescribing service focuses on bringing small groups of together.  In small groups we work with 11-18 unless otherwise specified.

Thr1ve Care & Connect

Thr1ve Care and Connect is a Creative group run in partnership with Derbyshire Young Carers.  It's a nurturing, supportive and inclusive environment.  It offers a pathway for young carers or socially isolated or anxious young people to connect with others through games and creative activities.

Thr1ve Minds - referred by pastoral teams

Often, but not exclusively delivered in Schools, Thr1ve Minds a 6-week programme, delivered within the school day for an hour a week.  We work with a small group of 6-8 young people in year 7 & in year 8.

It’s a light tough programme, supporting students who maybe struggling around making friends or are socially isolated at school - those students who present as shy or reserved, lacking confidence, and experiencing challenges relating to their peers.  

The Thr1ve Minds programme focuses on improving student wellbeing through reducing social isolation and anxiety, and empowering students around friendships and relating to their peers.  The sessions are fun and inclusive including wellbeing and self-care activities, activities encouraging working together, mindfulness and a light touch reflection of self-identity along with exploring activities in which they may like to participate in the future.

Thr1ve Confidence (16-18) for Young People who are currently NEET

Thr1ve Confidence is for those young people who are not currently in education, employment or training due to their mental health.  We offer young people ways to gain confidence and connect to others through small group activity.
