Need help doing your supermarket grocery shopping if you find it difficult to get to the shops? Easy Shop is Age UK Berkshire’s service that helps you arrange regular and reliable grocery shopping delivered to your home.
A member of the team will visit you at home to set up the system. They will then phone you at an agreed time to take your shopping list, place the order with the supermarket of your choice, and arrange delivery at a pre-arranged time.
You may find this helpful if you have mobility difficulties, health problems, or any other reason it’s hard to get out to the shops, and you live anywhere in Berkshire, including rural areas.
Cost: In addition to the cost of your shopping, Age UK Berkshire charges £8 per order for arranging the service. Supermarkets may also make a small delivery charge.
