The Newham Carers Community service which is delivered in a partnership of Age UK East London as Lead, with Subco Trust and The Renewal Programme to provide support to carers and young carers across the borough of Newham.
We offer free and confidential advice, information, activities and support to unpaid carers living or caring for someone living in Newham.
Our service runs from Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
We offer the following services:
- Help with welfare benefits and financial support
- Help to get a free Carers Assessment from the council
- Friendly groups and activities just for people who support others
- Pamper sessions to help you relax and recharge
- Access to online learning and training opportunities
- Guidance with making important decisions
- Clear advice about your rights and what help you can get
- Emergency planning
