DESMOND Newly Diagnosed module in Newham is a group education programme for adults who have been diagnosed with diabetes within the last 12 months. It is delivered in Newham in both virtual and on-site (face-to-face) formats. Referrals are welcomed from GP practices, dietitians, district nursing teams and hospital consultants. Modules available at this centre include the DESMOND Newly Diagnosed module and the DESMOND Foundation module; a separate digital programme, MyDESMOND – Type 2 Diabetes Management, is available via www.mydesmond.com.
