The Beehive is Honiton’s award-winning multi-arts community venue in East Devon. We offer a vibrant programme of live events, cinema screenings, exhibitions, workshops, and community activities for all ages. Our welcoming space is also available to hire for meetings, conferences, and special occasions.
Since opening in 2014, The Beehive has become a hub for creativity, learning, and connection, welcoming over 59,000 visitors each year. We are run by a charity and support numerous local organisations, special interest groups, and artists. Our aim is to create a stimulating centre that engages, entertains, supports, and educates the whole community.
- Live music, theatre, and cinema – enjoy a diverse range of performances and films throughout the year.
- Community groups and activities – from games mornings to art exhibitions, there’s something for everyone.
- Accessible venue – we strive to make our space welcoming and inclusive for all.
- Café Bar – open Monday to Friday, 10am–3pm, serving hot and cold refreshments and homemade cakes.
- Room hire – flexible spaces for meetings, workshops, and private events.
How to book: Tickets for events can be purchased online, by phone, or in person at our box office (open Mon–Fri, 9am–5.30pm, and 1 hour before performances). E-tickets and box office collection available (please note: standing gigs are box office collection only).
Parking: Limited on-site parking is available. Additional pay and display parking is nearby at Lace Walk (free after 6pm).
