How we help

You may want to talk to someone and share how you are feeling. Our trained female volunteers can provide a free and confidential environment for this. We offer face-to-face and telephone support in multiple languages.

Our volunteers will provide guidance in accordance with the Qur’an and Ahadeeth on the bereavement process, with advice on prayers and other religious aspects.

After suffering a loss you may feel a range of emotions and we are here to offer support immediately and in the weeks to follow.

There are certain things that must be done quickly after suffering a loss, such as registering the death and arranging for a funeral. We can provide practical help as well as information.

Additionally, we can provide you with a range of literature supplied by ourselves and our partners which may help you during this difficult time.

Furthermore, you may want to talk to someone to share your feelings and emotions and we can help in the following ways:
Contact us via our telephone service and we will arrange for you to talk to one of our support specialists, either on the phone or face to face at an appropriate community venue.

For residents who can get to our offices in Chigwell, we can offer face-to-face support.
