Richard House Children's Hospice

Referrals can come from any source such as a family, a GP or hospital, as long as the child’s parent or carer with parental responsibility has given their consent.
We welcome referrals of children and young adults with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions in London who meet our acceptance criteria.

Referrals can come from any source such as a family, a GP or hospital, as long as the child’s parent or carer with parental responsibility has given their consent.

Before you make a referral please speak with your GP or consultant who can support you in gathering the clinical information you require to support your referral.

To make a referral download and then complete this referral form along with up to date clinical information (you must have one of the following: clinic letter or discharge letter) and either post it to us at the address at the bottom of this page or email it to our care team.

Referrals are assessed at weekly multi-disciplinary meetings and families and / or referrers will be contacted within seven days with a decision. If the child or young person meets the criteria and is accepted onto our caseload, the care team will contact the family to arrange a tour of the hospice.

If you have an emergency referral, phone our care team on 020 7540 0243.
